I am a guest researcher at the Center for the Experimental-Philosophical Study of Discrimination at Aarhus University.
My research concentrates on what it means to relate as equals nationally and transnationally, and why egalitarian relations are required or valuable. I argue that egalitarian relationships are not only politically necessary, but they are also constitutive of who we are as persons. Beyond this research project, I also work on the connections between relational egalitarianism – a theory of justice stating that we ought to relate as equals – and anti-discrimination law.
I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from McGill University in 2022.
My research has appeared in AI & Ethics, Public Affairs Quarterly, French Politics, Options Politiques, and Revue Ithaque.
